Proverbs 8:1-3, 20-21 NKJV
1 Does not wisdom cry out,
And understanding lift up her voice?
2 She takes her stand on the top of the high hill,
Beside the way, where the paths meet.
3 She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city,
At the entrance of the doors:
20 I traverse the way of righteousness,
In the midst of the paths of justice,
21 That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth,
That I may fill their treasuries.
True wisdom which is found in the book of Proverbs in the Bible traverse the way of righteousness. It’s in the midst of the paths of justice. And those who love wisdom inherit wealth and she fills our treasuries.
So, what these passages are saying are the wisdom found in the Bible will cause you to traverse the way of righteousness. The kind of righteousness that is a gift from God because of what Jesus did on the cross. The kind that cannot be earned—only received by faith. Anyway, this wisdom will cause you to execute biblical justice.
And here is proof that God is rich and wants us to prosper—biblical wisdom will cause you to inherit wealth. Not just have wealth, but inherit it. Means to have a constant flow of wealth from your Daddy God! If that is not enough, biblical wisdom will fill your treasuries too!
So, in all your getting, get wisdom (Prov 4:7), amen!
