Proverbs 8:12, 15-16 NKJV

12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,

And find out knowledge and discretion.

15 By me kings reign,

And rulers decree justice.

16 By me princes rule, and nobles,

All the judges of the earth.

How powerful is wisdom?

Well according to the Bible, wisdom is the principal thing (Prov 4:7)

For by wisdom, kings reign, and rulers decree justice. Princes and nobles rule.

So, from this, we can infer why the kings of Israel failed or succeeded. Those that failed didn’t fear or worshipped Jesus. Those that did, succeeded. David, Solomon, Jehoshaphat, to name a few. Proverbs 9:10 tells us why, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

In today’s context, “kings” can refer to anyone in a leadership position. If you want your team, company, or even your household to prosper, start by asking Jesus for wisdom and reading the Proverbs of the day, amen!
