Proverbs 11:9 NKJV

9 The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor,

But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

Hosea 4:6 NKJV

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Because you have rejected knowledge,

I also will reject you from being priest for Me;

Because you have forgotten the law of your God,

I also will forget your children.

These two verses confirm the importance of knowing the Word—about what God says about you. So that you can fight the devil when he attacks you.

It’s sad that the Bible mentions that God says that His people (us) are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

So, what does that mean for us, God’s beloveds? It means that it is important that we sit under Bible-based Christ-centred teachings. Otherwise we become devourable to the devil. Because through knowledge the righteous are delivered.

Anyway, be blessed and stay blessed, amen!
