Proverbs 11:14 NKJV

14 Where there is no counsel, the people fall;

But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

Hey all, if any of you are at a crossroads in your life, may I encourage you to seek wise counsel before jumping in? Especially if you have a family and children to look after.

What does it mean to “seek wise counsel”? Well, primarily, your spouse if you’re married. If not, then your close church friends and leaders, or even your pastors. This is to ensure your safety and to confirm what God has placed in your heart. If God has put something in your heart, He will confirm it through your church leaders and pastors.

God is good, pure and true. He doesn’t lie. So, if He told you to do something big, like doing a new venture, He will confirm it through your church leaders. This is for your safety and your accountability to your family.

So, let’s submit to Jesus and learn to seek wise counsel when making major decisions, amen!
