Psalm 103:9 NKJV

9 He will not always strive with us,

Nor will He keep His anger forever.

Before Jesus died, God dealt with Israel based on the Ten Commandments. If they did good, they were blessed. If they did bad, they were cursed.

But, Jesus on the cross changed everything. The cross is the fulfilment of this verse.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, not only does His blood wash away all your sins, but He gives you the gift of righteousness and no condemnation.

In other words, God’s dream of no longer striving with man, nor keeping His anger forever is fulfilled at the cross of Jesus Christ.

That’s why YOU, child of God can go free! So, stop punishing yourself for your sins. That is self-righteousness. Jesus already paid—did everything for you on the cross and even conquered death. So, just labour to enter the rest and receive His gift of righteousness and no condemnation, amen!
