Matthew 14:17, 20-21 NKJV

17 And they said to Him, “We have here only five > loaves and two fish.”

20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.

21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand > men, besides women and children.

Luke 6:38 NKJV

38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV

18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Hey all, I want to share with you my own personal revelation on tithing and giving.

Ever since I started tithing in my schooling days, I’ve never been short-changed. My Jesus has always supplied me, and, I always had enough to enjoy life. At one point, I had a 5-figure savings in my account as a student, and I never held a job until after university. Then, when I started working, I was always able to spend within my means, from 3-figures to 4-figures.

When I pondered on my financial journey, the Holy Spirit reminded me of a verse in the Bible: Deuteronomy 8:18. God didn’t promise to just give us wealth, but also the power to get wealth. What this means is my Abba supplies me the grace and wisdom to get wealth. Like dropping in me fresh software ideas to build for GraceSoft.

At the same time, it’s important to recognise that our supply comes from Jesus. That’s why we tithe. Don’t tithe out of obligation. Tithe out of a revelation that Jesus is your Supply, and not the world. And do you know what happens when you do that? You may start to see miracles happening in your hands!

Jesus is NOT a stingy God. He’s a generous and over-supplying God. He’s just waiting for us to trust Him. Just like He took a young boy’s lunch of 5 loaves and 2 fish to feed 5 thousand, He can cause a miracle to happen through your tithe: multiply your tithe!

So, trust Him with your little and your lack and witness Him multiply them back to you, amen!
